Voices For The Families founder, Richard Jones, is a Motivational Speaker, who has overcome
many obstacles in his path. His story has impacted and changed the lives of many.

Richard was born in Detroit, Michigan, in a single parent household, and raised by his mother.
Richard found acceptance and excitement in the street life. He made decisions at a young age
that lead him down the wrong path. An ex-drug dealer, he served fifteen years in prison for drug
dealing.

It was while doing this time that Richard encountered many young men like himself, who were
also raised in a single parent household. Richard realized that the youth are suffering due to the
lack of family stability. Since that time, he has been committed to reaching men and women with
the powerful message of Responsibility and Accountability.

Richards greatest desire is to see the youth of today growing up in a family household that has
a mother and father.
